Welcome to the home page of the Professor Hendrik de Waard Foundation. The foundation organizes an annual lecture in the field of the natural sciences. Our aim is to inform a general public on new and interesting scientific developments. Our 2026 lecture is yet to be announced but can be expected in May. More information on this topic can be found by navigating through the panel on the left.

The board of the Professor Hendrik de Waard Foundation is formed by Bachelor and Master students studying at the Faculty of Science and Engineering of the University of Groningen.
