Excursion to ESA and ESTEC

What?

Thursday 26 of March, the FMF will visit the ESTEC in Noordwijk. The ESTEC is a technology development and test centre for spacecraft and space technology. More than 2500 engineers work at ESTEC to develop all kinds of spacecraft technology for the European Space Agency (ESA). Someone of the Gaia project will guide us and tell us all about this fascinating project that tries to map the whole galaxy with a space telescope. Because it's a long drive, we will be having dinner on the way back (at your own cost)
