What?

The Large Hadron Collider is the world's most powerful particle accelerator, located hundred meters below the Franco-Swiss border near Geneva. It accelerates protons to nearly the speed of light before smashing them into each other in violent collisions creating exotic particles that only existed seconds after the Big Bang. All this speaks to our imagination, but what is really going on? Come and find out about the fascinating world of particle physics, where we need the biggest scientific laboratory to study the smallest building blocks of our Universe.
