What?

The annual Drink and Derive competition is already on its 3rd year! It will once again promise to be a wonderful night of drinking, deriving and pure chaos as you try to become the ultimate champion!

The game is simple. There are 6 rounds in total with every round looking the same. You start the round by drinking a beer as fast as you can, then you try and derive the function on the board as fast as possible and finally you try to be the first to hand in the correct answer. The person who hands in their correct answer first will win the most points that round! Don't worry, this event is mathematically accessible to all first years and up, with special questions for all the master students! There will also be plenty of breaks in between rounds and the possibility to join without alcohol. This is the perfect event to kickstart the new block with a fresh reminder of the calculus basics!
