Join your female and nonbinary colleagues for two engaging presentations by Réka (staff) and Jamara (student)! Réka’s talk is on Bootstrap percolation: from local failures to global resilience and Jamara will present their bachelor’s thesis on Surface knots and fundamental groups. There will be free snacks and drinks and this event is open to both mathematics students and staff.
