What?
The Benelux Algorithm Programming Contest (BAPC) is a programming contest for students from Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. Teams of at most three people have five hours to solve a set of (algorithmic) programming problems. This year, the BAPC will take place on October 24th in Leiden.
BAPC Groningen is a preliminary contest for the national BAPC. The national BAPC is a preliminary contest for the Northwestern Europe Regional Contest (NWERC), which is itself a preliminary contest for the worldwide contest ICPC. As such, teams competing in the BAPC can work their way up to the largest programming contest in the world!
The local preliminaries take place on September 19th in Groningen and are organized by study associations FMF and Cover. Participation by members of FMF and Cover is free. If you are not a member of FMF or Cover, participation costs € 7,50 (which will be used to buy lunch and drinks).
Program (September 19th):
• 11.00–12.00: Getting used to the computer system
• 12.00–13.00: Lunch (included)
• 13.00–18.00: Contest
• 18.00–19.00: Drinks (included) and presentation of possible solutions
