What?

Facing the Future - Scientific Prospects of Exciting Discoveries will take place on the 13th of November

Over the past few hundred years the world's population has grown dramatically. In the same time the technological progress of mankind has accelerated significantly. This poses questions like How is this trend going to continue? and What might be the problems caused by such an exponential growth?. Answering these questions and predicting the future as accurately as possible has become a task of major importance and is therefore also an important subject in the scientific community nowadays.

This year's edition "Facing the Future - Scientific Prospects of Exciting Discoveries" of the annual FMF symposium will highlight the challenges to be overcome and introduce possible strategies and solutions from a scientific point of view. We have invited five speakers, each experts in particular fields of science ranging from Future mobility and Financial systems to Astronomy. Thus, physical, mathematical as well as general aspects will be covered.

Come and join us at 'Hampshire plaza' in Groningen on Thursday, 13th of November and face the future!

Registration closes on 12.00, 10th of November, so make sure to sign up before then!
