The first in a series of lectures organized by Mathematica will be given by one of the most popular staff members in the university - Daniel R. Valesin. He will talk about cellular automata, bootstrap percolation and metastability. For those of you intimidated by these unfamiliar words, we suggest you check out Conway's "Game of Life" if you haven't already. Hope to see all mathematics enthusiasts join us for a nice discussion and some drinks.
