What?

Have you ever wondered what you'll do once you've completed your studies in Physics or Applied Physics? Well, then you're in luck! On March 6th, the FMF hosts the annual Physics Alumni Day again. For this day, we've invited some UG graduates in Physics to talk about their (work) experiences after they completed their degree. By listening to their experiences, you'll get a feel for what you can do once you too have your diploma in hand. The PAD will take place in LB 5173.0055, between 13:00 and 17:00. The schedule is as follows: 13.00: Opening 13.10: Arsalan Torke Ghashghaee -- IT 14.00: Rene van de Veen -- Education 14.50: Break with coffee & tea 15.10: Sytze de Graaf -- PhD Student 16.00: Darin Zwaan -- Medical Physics 16.50: Borrel Notice that the day ends with a borrel. There, you can socialise with the alumni, and with your fellow students. This could also be a nice opportunity to talk to the alumni, and ask them some burning questions. Furthermore, you're not required to attend all the talks: you can choose to attend whichever talk seems most interesting to you. The entire afternoon is free of any course activities, so at least you can attend them all!
