What?

CGI is one of the world's largest international IT companies. Our people keep the world turning. Governments, financial institutions and infrastructural organisations are only a few of CGI's customers. We work on projects they propose that touch the daily life of millions of people.

One of the areas that CGI is active in within the Netherlands is Space. This is one of the most innovative areas, even within our own company. For the study associations FMF and RealTime, we asked two space- and geo-observation experts to talk you through some of the interesting parts of this sector.

The speakers are: - Leonoor Portengen - Space Data Engineer - MSc. Geoscience & Remote Sensing - Suzanne Marselis - Data scientist - PhD Geographical Sciences - Tim Hoeksema - Project Support Specialist - BASc. Network & Security Engineering

CGI's work isn't something that you directly observe in your daily life, but our work is influencing millions of people indirectly. Think about improving train traffic, operating systems of satellites, quick routing of containers in ports, and technical solutions for healthcare companies. We're impacting workflows everywhere! And that's something we're proud of. IT is connected to everything nowadays. CGI might be invisible most of the time, but we're omnipresent.
