What?
How can cats always fall on their feet? How can one park a car even if it is constrained by steering? What is so interesting about bicycle or skate tracks? In this talk, we will have a brief look at the strange geometry behind such constrained systems and how it brings together different disciplines like dynamical systems, control theory, and differential geometry.
